About Our Piano Instructor
David Kish began his teaching career more than 30 years ago at the studio of his mother, Judy Kish, in Rye, NH. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a BA in Music, he opened his own piano studio in 1995. David has been teaching seacoast children, as well as adults, ever since.
Teaching Philosophy
Kish is committed solely to comprehensive, personalized instruction. He gives each student his undivided attention, understanding where their strengths lie and the areas they have to work on.
Our studio is not a lesson factory, and we don’t rent or sell instruments. We have one instructor who is focused on honing the skills of aspiring pianists and helping them achieve their full potential.
Kish strongly believes that students need to learn quickly and show progress consistently to stay engaged. His systematic teaching methods ensure that these goals are achieved. Most importantly, he teaches students how to practice efficiently on their own so that they can achieve more in less time.
